Newport & Covington (KY) are only about an 8-13 minute drive from the venue and downtown Cincinnati. Cincinnati sits on the north shore of the Ohio River, which seperates Ohio and Kentucky.
What will the weather be like in August?
Cincinnati is pretty hot & humid in August, but the weather can vary. The historical temperature for that day ranges from 64-86 degrees (F). It might be good to pack summer weather clothes. The wedding ceremony & reception are indoors, but the cocktail hour will be outdoors. We are planning for adequate shade (and, of course, cold refreshments) during that time.
What is the parking situation at the Monastery?
The Monastery Event Center offers abundant, complimentary parking on-site for guests. Upon arrival, a parking attendant will greet you and direct you to the property’s private parking area. Guests may remain parked in the private parking lot no later than 10:00am the next morning.
